The Dispatch endorses the following:

Republican Heidi Samuel is a neighborhood activist and former president of the Eastmoor Civic Association. She led the fight to close a crime- and prostitution-plagued motel and nightclub on the East Side. She wants the city to focus on public safety and address issues such as code enforcement that affect quality of life.
